Fall Deer Hunting Season in Deep South Texas
There is a place in deep South Texas that is 14 miles off the highway and is surrounded by the largest ranches in South Texas. It has oak and mesquite trees, herds of deer, turkey and javelina, and is located in Kenedy and Kleberg counties. This area has one of the largest concentrations of wild game in Texas. Numerous Boone & Crockett whitetail bucks have been taken in Kenedy and Kleberg counties in past years.

Boone & Crockett bucks have been taken from the ranch by hunters in years past; most of the trophy bucks are in the 140 to 155 Boone & Crockett rating.
