Texas Rio Grande Gobblers are opening their land and ranches in Kenedy and Kleberg counties, located in deep South Texas, for the hunting season of September 29, 2007 to April 27, 2008 on a special situation basis. This is a rare opportunity, and some property has been in the family for over 100 years.

Three Turkey Seasons:

1. Fall Turkey Season

8-29-07 to 1-20-08

EARLIEST SPRING OPENING EVER

3-15-08 TO 4-27-08

GREAT HUNTING

2. Special Turkey Season 1-21-08 to 2-24-08
3. Spring Turkey Season 3-15-08 to 4-27-08

There is an oasis between two of the largest ranches in South Texas and this oasis has some of the largest Rio Grande turkey herds in North America. Earliest Spring opening ever 3-15-08 to 4-27-08 - great hunting! The Texas Game and Field Commission has made Kenedy and Kleberg counties a 4-gobbler limit area since turkeys are so abundant in these counties.
